Ten years ago today, the company was founded on a mission of Equal Healthcare for All; United Imaging is now in more than 30 countries worldwide.
HOUSTON – March 22, 2021 – United Imaging, a global leader in advanced medical imaging and radiotherapy equipment, today announced that it is celebrating its tenth anniversary globally.
Founded in 2011, the company today is at the helm of over 6,100 employees worldwide in more than 30 countries in North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. The company's newest manufacturing facility opened in 2020 in Houston, Texas and comprises a global showroom, factory, training center, and headquarters offices for the region.
United Imaging's installed customer base has grown explosively as the industry responds to its technology and its mission, with more than 13,000 installations across the world. The company has spent significant resources in the past year deploying CT scanners to help on the front lines of COVID-19 in nearly all of the markets in which it operates, ranging from India to South Africa to New York to Argentina to the Ukraine. Around the globe, United Imaging has taken a new approach to market needs to ensure it achieves its mission by exceeding the needs of its customer base.
The mission "Equal Healthcare for All" refers to its drive to make its most cutting-edge digital technology available throughout its entire portfolio, not only in its highest-end scanners, so that providers in all kinds of imaging facilities can make top care available more broadly.
