The uAI Vision camera analyzed and segmented the patient’s body, identifying the head as the area of focus for the scan. Despite having no prior experience with uCT ATLAS’ user interface, the technologists were able to quickly and efficiently complete the scan by pressing a single button, thanks to the scanner’s intuitive software design and AI implementation. After the scan, the patient was promptly taken back to the emergency room for further treatment. The uMI Panorama, part of the uMI Panorama family of products, includes the uMI Panorama GS, a system with a pending 510k clearance and a 148 cm axial field of view. Built on the uExcel platform, this system allows fast and high-resolution whole-body PET/CT imaging in a single bed position. The uMI Panorama GS is also being introduced at SNMMI.

HOUSTON- United Imaging, a global leader in manufacturing advanced medical imaging and radiotherapy equipment, has achieved a significant milestone with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) with the clearance of its uMR Jupiter 5T MRI system. This innovative whole-body MRI system transcends the conventional limitations of ultra-high-field imaging, representing a remarkable advancement in diagnostic radiology.
uMR Jupiter is the first ultra-high field system cleared for whole body applications. It is also the first system on the market at any field strength equipped with an 8-channel whole-body multi-transmit system.
