Cheri Gottke
Vice President, Molecular Imaging & Digital X-ray
Cheri Gottke is the Vice President, Molecular Imaging & Digital X-ray, overseeing market strategies and supporting business development, as well as working with the global team in product development
Cheri has led Molecular Imaging at United Imaging since 2018. Since then she has created a disruptive strategy, bringing to market the first mobile digital PET/CT with the engineering team within 18 months of the first conversation. She has also created momentum in the fixed PET/CT market with the All-in Configurations™ approach for all systems, while staying focused on the entire digital PET/CT portfolio that has the innovative uEXPLORER® inside. Her focus is on affordable PET with academic features that focus on ultimate patient care. Cheri's role was expanded in 2021 to include the Digital Radiography business; as she started her career in Radiology, this move has brought her back to her roots.
Before United Imaging, Cheri held several positions at General Electric, Philips Healthcare, and Picker International. Her 30+ years of extensive clinical and technical experience and her customer insights and industry relationships have been a crucial foundation to her success.
As GM of Molecular Imaging at G.E., she introduced new nuclear medicine systems resulting in customer satisfaction and market share gains. She was also the GM of MICT at G.E., overseeing the marketing and lead development teams. In both roles, Cheri worked with Engineering to ensure superior customer and product satisfaction. At Picker International and Philips Healthcare, Cheri held varied positions for over 24 years, from clinical product support to U.S. National Sales Manager for CT. Later, as Product Manager for the iCT Computed Tomography system in North America, she worked extensively with the Business Unit and Engineering teams to ensure successful market introductions. She led the team creating unique experiences for the introductions, facilitating and hosting calls with customers and internal teams so that the systems' installation and use were great clinical successes.
Cheri, a Registered Technologist, met her husband of 31 years, David, when she was a Radiology Manager in Cleveland. Her interests include boating, her Scottish Terriers, spending time with family and friends, and supporting live music — she has been a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for over ten years.
